Friday - On to Kitzbuhel

We were reminded this morning of one of the many reasons we love traveling to Europe - the food! We started our morning with a cappuccino and the scrumptious buffet. Then a quick bus ride to the bahnhauf to board our train to Kitzbuhel.

Kitzbuhel is a small medieval town east of Innsbruck, in the western Austrian Provence of Tyrol. It is best known for the Hahnenkamm World Cup ski races. Our hotel is an easy walk to the town center. They clearly need more snow here as the only thing snow covered are the ski runs.😔. On our walk we met Helga a delightful and informative ski instructor / born again Christian, who enthusiastically shared information on where to ski, her faith and her sister’s address in Glenview Illinois! So tomorrow on Helga’s advice we will take the local bus to an area, she assured us will have great skiing.
